It is rather common for people to default to the most common form of romantic and sexual expression of their society until they are either exposed to examples of their true orientation, or have targets for their affection where its strong enough to cause confusion that will hopefully lead to understanding," Albinia said. "Polyamory isn't so odd an orientation as some societies can lead people to believe."
