“Well… I’ve come to realize I don’t need to love just one person.” Nanoha said.

"It is more likely that is 'being able to act.' It is rather common for people to default to the most common form of romantic and sexual expression of their society until they are either exposed to examples of their true orientation, or have targets for their affection where its strong enough to cause confusion that will hopefully lead to understanding," Albinia said. "Polyamory isn't so odd an orientation as some societies can lead people to believe."

“I see… that would make sense, actually. I just never thought I would have it happen to me.” She said. She smiled at her before testing things out, reaching over to take her hand.

"Most don't. People do not like being uncertain about themselves," Albinia said. Touching a bit as she's suddenly touched.

Though she doesn't pull away.

She knows better. She doesn't always touch as often as she should.

Though she is notably cool to the touch.

She notices the chill on her hand, causing her to tilt her head.

“Are you cold?”

"Yes, but that's normal. If I'm not cold, it would be quite bad," she said.

“I see. You don’t have to explain. It’s who you are.” Nanoha said. “Despite this, though… I like being affectionate.”

"Its not something I keep secret. I'm an ice goddess. As well as other domains," Albinia said. She looked down at their hands. "People are...often affectionate." He pauses, and turns her hand in Nanoha's. "Are you offering to help with the experiment?"

"An ice goddess... heh, that's amazing. Haven't met goddesses before, so this is a first." Nanoha said. She nodded at her question.

"If you'll let me. I know we just met, but... I want to help."

And she starts to entwine her fingers with Albinia's.

"It's just how I was born," Albinia said. It was an odd thing to think of as amazing. Its not like that status was earned, it simply was.

Albinia considers. She had been thinking about taking part. If she was curious, and Nanoha was willing...

She finally nods, standing up, holding the device close to her. "Do you have a preferred place?"

And Nanoha would stand up with her. "How about your place? It's your experiment and it would be better if we had a central place to stay at without having to go all over."

Albinia nodded. "That is a fair point. Though I keep the place fairly cold, so it'll need a few minutes to warm up," she said.

“That’s fine. We’re in no rush.” Nanoha said, smiling as she did.

Albinia nodded, a slight red to her cheeks. "True. One should never rush science if they don't have to," she said, leading the way back to the apartments.

Nanoha giggled a bit, noticing the blush. “Especially one of this kind.”
